Elizabeth Hardin

Head Coach

Hello there, I'm coach “ed” (my previous initials) . I have been playing volleyball for 17 years and have been coaching since 2012. I have coached all age groups and directed a girls and boys varsity program in California. This is my 3rd year with sky as the director and a coach.  My philosophy is  to help players master control of the ball and their mental game. Helping players become smart on the court can lead them to be very successful and overcome many challenges. My players will learn to have good communication on and off the court, selfless responsibility, respect and overall growing passion for volleyball. I have nothing but faith and love for the players that come ready to learn and are ready to elevate their game.

Our Philosophy

What type of coaching do you plan to have for your team: competitive or more learning style?

At this level, we want competitive. We want to show up to tournaments and compete. Part of playing at this level is the preparation into a continuation of the players volleyball career. Therefore, we plan to prepare girls for college entry-level playing if they choose to continue their volleyball careers. If the player is not interested in a college level, we want to continue the competitive culture.

What is your policy on playing time?

Being that we are a competitive, high level team, playing time will be earned and based on skill level. We plan to play the girls that show up for their team and for themselves both on and off the court. More importantly, we will play girls that come to practice, show a hard work ethic, and put it all out on the court to compete.

Hello! My name is Joey and I am kickstarting our boys program as well as assistant coaching for the U18s team. This is my first year coaching volleyball and I am really excited to start my coaching career with Sky! I played for my high school team in California and continue to play regularly in leagues and tournaments around the Spokane area.
